Rex Larry
Born and raised in the diverse ancient landscape of Papua New Guinea, Rex Larry is an indigenous screen-printing artist who specializes in producing drawings and prints on tablecloths, clothing and curtains. With a distinct perspective of the world around him, Rex has a strong desire to promote his culture and his identity through his artwork.
In this tropical environment where many of the inhabitants live largely traditional village lifestyles in agricultural societies, screen-printing has been a creative outlet that Rex has used to express his awe and admiration for the rugged landscape that is Papua New Guinea.
He is a leader in his Papuan Compound, LAE not only in the PWD Community but across the peoples and youth. Despite all the challenges he has started a screen-printing business with unique PNG Art, messages and empowerment tags.
Rex is driven by a passion for his culture. His goal is to establish a successful business and share his unique art from Papua New Guinea with the world.
